Survivor- Christmas Edition

I've never been so thankful for family drama.

It kept my mind off the sadness I've been feeling lately- of spending another Christmas as a family of two.

I survived Christmas 2010! Now on to 2011... please let this be our year.

September 2007: Off the Pill
June 2008: Officially start trying
July 2009: the "What's wrong?" Dr. appt
September 2009: First Infertility appt
October 2009: D's SA show no sperm
December 8 2009: D's Dr. appt to get referral for Urologist
December 10 2009: D's Urologist appt
December 14 2009: D's ultrasound
December 16 2009: D's SA #2
December 23 2009: Follow-up with Urologist
January 19 2010: Consult appointment with Fertility Specialist for D's biopsy
February 20 2010: Adoption Conference we ~~may be~~ are attending
March 4 2010: Appointment with Geneticist
March/ April 2010: Results are good!
April 22 2010: Appointment with RE
May 2010: Foster care orientation
June 2010: 30+ hours of classes and lots of forms
July 6 2010: Passed Health Inspection
July 23 2010: Done with forms, inspections, tests, etc.
August 21 2010: Home study!
October 26 2010: We're licensed!
January 2011: Home Study submitted for A
February 2011: Find out we're one of the final three selected- then chosen to be foster-to-adopt parents for A!
March 2011: We got him!
May 2011: Get call about A's one month-old half-sister, H- she arrives that night!
September 2011: A's case becomes an adoption case
